What is Absolute Drift?

Absolute Drift is a stylish top-down drifting game developed and published by Funselektor Labs. It features a minimalist visual style with plain color environments and basic car designs. The goal is to navigate through each level by drifting around corners and obstacles while maintaining speed and angle.

Despite the simple graphics, Absolute Drift provides fluid drifting mechanics and controls. Players use the arrow keys or analog stick to adjust speed and steering angle. Letting go of the gas while turning causes the car to slide into a drift. Mastering drift angles and exit speeds to link corners together is key to both style and achieving the best times. The drifting feels intuitive yet takes practice to excel at.

The game includes six different cars to unlock, each with their own handling properties. Levels start out simple with just slalom routes and 90 degree turns but become increasingly complex with tricky hairpin turns, narrow paths, and environmental hazards to drift around. Approachable early on yet remains challenging at the highest levels.
