As an HD (hierarchical deterministic) wallet, BitPay Wallet relies on a 12-word backup phrase to regenerate the user's wallet. No private keys are stored on BitPay's servers. BitPay Wallet includes features such as one-touch 2-factor authentication, encrypted QR codes, price charts, and the ability to buy and sell crypto.
