What is Blynk IoT?

Blynk is an Internet of Things platform designed for rapid building of interfaces for controlling hardware projects from iOS and Android devices. It employs a client-server model with mobile apps functioning as the client and Blynk Cloud or privately hosted Blynk Server running on hardware as the server.

With Blynk app on a smartphone and customizable Widget Boxes, users can easily create dashboards with buttons, sliders, various displays and graphs to interact with hardware. No coding or wiring is required to build basic interfaces. The platform uses hardware-specific libraries to handle lower level communication between hardware boards (Arduino, Raspberry Pi etc.) and the Blynk Cloud.
