What is CryptoPrevent?

CryptoPrevent is a free anti-ransomware program designed to protect Windows computers from ransomware attacks. It uses signature-based detection to identify ransomware-like behaviors from programs running on the computer.

When installed, CryptoPrevent runs silently in the background and monitors all program activity and behaviors. It has a database of known ransomware signatures that it checks program processes and behaviors against.
