DigiPass by Vasco: Two-Factor Authentication Solution

A security solution providing additional protection for network, website, and application access via physical token or mobile app generated one-time passcodes

What is DigiPass by Vasco?

DigiPass by Vasco is a leading two-factor authentication solution used by organizations worldwide to enhance security and prevent unauthorized access. It adds an extra layer of protection beyond standard passwords by requiring users to provide a one-time passcode along with their username and password when logging into critical systems.

DigiPass generates time-based one-time passcodes (OTPs) using small physical tokens that connect to a computer's USB port or apps that run on smartphones and tablets. Users unlock their DigiPass device to obtain a passcode that is only valid for 30-60 seconds. This passcode must be entered in addition to their login credentials when accessing protected resources.

If an unauthorized person obtains a user's standard login credentials, they will still be unable to access systems or accounts protected by DigiPass because they won't have the additional OTP. This helps defend against password theft and replay attacks even if the primary credentials are compromised.

DigiPass integrates with common network, cloud and web access platforms through the use of plugins and APIs. Implementation is straightforward for IT teams. The solution supports various authentication protocols including RADIUS, SAML, OpenID and OAuth. DigiPass presents a user-friendly authentication method that is easy for end users across the organization to adopt.

Key benefits of DigiPass include strong defense against cyber threats, simplified compliance with regulations requiring multi-factor authentication, flexible options allowing both mobile and dedicated hardware tokens to suit all users, and trusted security backed by 30+ years of experience from Vasco.
