Diner Dash is a hit time management and strategy video game released in 2004. In the game, players take on the role of Flo, a waitress at a busy diner. The objective is to guide Flo as she seats customers, takes orders, serves dishes, clears tables, and collects tips within a time limit.

Gameplay involves quickly moving Flo around the diner to complete tasks. As customers arrive, the player must seat them, take their orders, and serve up meals and drinks. Customers get impatient if they wait too long. After they finish eating, Flo has to clean the dirty dishes from their table. Players earn points and tips for serving customers before the timer runs out. If customers get too unhappy and leave, Flo loses lives. As levels progress, the diner gets progressively busier and more chaotic.

With colorful graphics and addictive, fast-paced gameplay, Diner Dash became hugely popular in the 2000s both on PC and mobile platforms. The game sold over half a million copies in its first 18 months. Its success spawned countless sequels, spin-offs, and clones over the years.
