Despite its clean interface, Feedly's free version is so restrictive it's almost unusable. It constantly pushes upgrades, and the performance is sluggish, often losing my feed organization. For a basic RSS reader, it feels more like a trial than a functional product.

I've used Feedly for years to stay on top of my industry news, and as a tool for aggregating content, it's incredibly effective. The interface is clean, the 'read later' function is a lifesaver, and the organizational system with boards and tags is very powerful for research. However, I'm increasingly frustrated by the aggressive push for me to upgrade to a paid plan. The free version has become stingier over time, and while the core RSS functionality is solid, the constant upsells and the feeling that the best features are locked behind a paywall significantly taint the overall experience. It does the job, but with a constant, low-grade frustration.

Feedly has been my go-to RSS reader for years—the clean layout and ability to organize feeds by topic are fantastic. However, the recent push toward the paid plan really limits the free version, especially with AI features locked behind a paywall.
