What is Frozen Bubble Shooter?

Frozen Bubble Shooter is a free and open source casual puzzle video game originally developed by Guillaume Cottenceau in 2001. In the game, players shoot colored bubbles into a playfield of other bubbles. The objective is to match 3 or more bubbles of the same color to clear them from the field and accumulate points.

Gameplay involves aiming and shooting a colored bubble from the bottom of the screen to the playfield above. When bubbles are matched and cleared, any bubbles above fall down to fill the space. Players must clear all the bubbles in each level to advance to the next one. If the pile of bubbles reaches too high, the game is over.

Frozen Bubble Shooter features colorful anime-style graphics and sound effects for a lighthearted, relaxing gameplay experience. The puzzles start out simple but increase in difficulty across over 100 levels. Special bubble types are introduced such as bombs to spice things up.
