What is HyperWorks?

HyperWorks is a computer-aided engineering software suite developed by Altair Engineering. It incorporates a comprehensive set of analysis tools to perform complete, realistic simulations of various physical phenomena associated with linear and nonlinear structural mechanics, fluid dynamics, multi-body dynamics, explicit dynamics, electromagnetics and heat transfer.

HyperWorks contains pre-processing, solver and post-processing capabilities all in one cohesive user environment. It helps engineers and designers across manufacturing and high tech industries analyze product performance, customize and automate solutions, and ultimately make better decisions.

The suite includes solutions for modeling and visualization, finite element analysis, computational fluid dynamics, optimization, fatigue and fracture mechanics, multiphysics analysis, vehicle performance analysis, crash modeling, and manufacturing process simulation and validation.
