In Infinity Blade, players control a character on a quest to defeat the God King, an immortal tyrant, in one-on-one sword combat. The battles take place across beautifully rendered gothic fantasy environments and landscapes. Players can equip their character with swords, shields, helmets, armor and rings that increase stats and skills.

The unique combat system allows players to easily slash, kick, parry and dodge attacks by swiping and tapping the screen. Successfully blocking and dodging enemy attacks builds up magic power that can unleash special attacks. Defeated enemies drop gold and items that players can use to upgrade their equipment and skills.

While Infinity Blade has a straightforward gameplay loop focused on combat, it features an intriguing cyclical story and lore across three games in the series as the protagonist bloodlines quest to defeat the God King across generations.
