As a long-time iTunes user, I have a love-hate relationship with it. On one hand, it's a powerful hub for my music, movies, and podcast libraries, and syncing with my iPhone is seamless. The ability to rip CDs and manage a personal, detailed library is still unmatched for a purist like me. However, the desktop application is a bloated, slow, and often confusing behemoth. The forced integration of Apple Music and podcast libraries can make the interface feel cluttered and slow, especially on Windows. The recent music and app management features have been moved to separate apps on Mac, leaving iTunes feeling like a relic that's been Frankensteined together with features. It gets the job done for basic syncing, but it's a far cry from a clean, intuitive experience.
