As someone who's nervous about rooting, KingoRoot made the whole process incredibly easy. I managed to root my old Galaxy S7 in under 5 minutes to unlock features my carrier had blocked. It's not magic—some newer devices won't work and it's an older tool, but for an old phone it gave it a new lease of life. Be aware, the 'one-click' promise is device-dependent, but it's a fantastic tool when it works.
