What is Mafia Mystery?

Mafia Mystery is a popular multiplayer online party game for groups. Players are randomly assigned secret roles at the start - most are innocent townspeople, but a select few are designated as members of the mafia.

Over the course of multiple rounds, the townspeople must try to identify and eliminate the mafia members through discussion and voting to exile suspected mafia players. The mafia members, meanwhile, attempt to sow confusion and turn the townspeople against each other to avoid being detected.

Games typically have a day phase where players debate and vote, and a night phase where the mafia secretly selects someone to eliminate from the game. Townspeople win if all mafia members are successfully identified and voted out. The mafia wins if they eliminate enough townspeople to equal or outnumber those remaining.

Mafia Mystery requires careful deduction, persuasion tactics, and the ability to spot inconsistencies in players' stories. Games can support anywhere from 6 to over a dozen players for an exciting battle of wits.
