What is MCPatcher?

MCPatcher is a popular modding tool and API that enables texture packs for Minecraft to utilize various effects and features not normally supported by the base game. It works by patching the game client at runtime to allow texture packs to include high definition textures, custom colors and animation effects, connected textures, higher resolution skies, customizable water, and more.

Some key features enabled by MCPatcher include:

• High Definition Textures - Texture packs can include much larger textures than the default 16x16 pixels.
• Custom Colors - More colors and color variations can be introduced that aren't available in the default Minecraft palette.
