Netcraft is an internet services company based in Bath, England. It provides a range of cybersecurity and web monitoring services, focused on phishing, fraud detection and network security threats.

The core Netcraft service is its web server survey, which continually monitors active sites on the internet to provide data on web server technology usage and market share. Netcraft uses this data to analyze over 800 million sites across 230 million hostnames. This allows it to detect new phishing sites and provide anti-fraud monitoring services.

Netcraft also offers anti-phishing solutions to banks, ecommerce sites and enterprises. This uses a global network of sensors to identify phishing attacks using brands' names or trademarks. As soon as fakes sites are detected, Netcraft will automatically notify organizations and work with registrars and hosts to take down fraudulent sites.

For monitoring network threats, Netcraft provides cybersecurity threat alerts focused on critical infrastructure providers across energy, healthcare, finance and telecoms sectors. It tracks threats from bulletproof hosting, botnets, malware and other attack types. Netcraft's network monitors over 80% of the internet every day from over 165 locations.
