What is NEURATRON PhotoScore?

NEURATRON PhotoScore is an optical music recognition (OMR) software application developed by Neuratron that can scan and convert printed sheet music pages into editable digital sheet music files. It works by analyzing scanned sheet music images and using built-in music notation recognition technology to identify musical symbols like staff lines, clefs, notes, rests and other markings to recreate the music digitally.

PhotoScore can open and import various file types including PDF, JPG, PNG, TIFF and can handle scans from scanners, smartphones and cameras. It has editing tools to fix recognition errors and supports exporting the converted scores to standard music notation formats like MIDI, MusicXML, NIFF as well as graphic files formats.
