As an anime fan, I was really excited to try Otakux. The custom artwork and boot-up screens are great, and the pre-installed media players and tools for fansubbers are a nice touch for the target audience. However, I ran into some driver issues with my Wi-Fi card, and the community support forums were a bit sparse. It's a fun project for a themed OS, but it feels more like a 'proof of concept' than a polished daily driver. I ended up switching to a more mainstream distro for my daily use, but I’ll keep the live USB just for fun.
Installed Otakux because I liked the anime aesthetic, but quickly ran into major issues. The system felt unstable with random freezes, and many of the pre-installed anime-related applications were outdated or broken. It's more of a niche novelty than a functional daily driver, which was disappointing since I was hoping to replace my main OS.
