Peggle Nights is a casual puzzle video game developed by PopCap Games. It is a sequel to the popular game Peggle. Peggle Nights features 55 new levels and backgrounds, 10 new magical Pegge Master, new music tracks, and dual player modes.

What is Peggle Night?

Peggle Nights is a casual puzzle video game and the sequel to Peggle, one of the most popular casual games of all time. Like the original, Peggle Nights combines elements of pinball and pachinko into an engaging mixture of skill, chance, and over-the-top visuals.

The gameplay is centered around clearing a board filled with colored pegs by firing a metallic silver ball from the top of the screen. The player uses a cannon on the bottom right to aim and shoot balls, attempting to strike groups of pegs for big combos. It's a simple concept made challenging by the physics of bouncing balls. Mastering the angles provides that perfect mix of skill development and random luck.

Peggle Nights doesn't stray too far from the original formula but expands nicely upon it. There are 55 brand new levels featuring a range of backgrounds like a dusty attic and Alice in Wonderland-style labyrinth. It also introduces 10 new Peggle Masters, each with unique abilities that alter the rules. For example, the Final Fight Master grants bonus points for smashing windows while Berg's Reflux ability lets you re-fire missed shots.

Beyond the single player Adventure mode, there are two player Duel modes to let friends settle scores. For an extra level of competition, players can compare high scores and other stats by the Duel Leaderboards. There's also 60 Objectives that provide specific in-game goals and 20 secret Trophies to discover.

With its pick-up-and-play appeal, charming visuals and sounds, and near infinite replayability, Peggle Nights is regarded by critics and fans as one of the best titles in the casual games genre.
