A mobile game where Trainers team up with iconic Pokémon, battling in 3v3 real-time games. Collect Sync Pairs of famous trainers and Pokémon, progressing through the story.
Pokémon Masters is a free-to-play mobile game developed and published by DeNA for iOS and Android devices. Set in the artificial island of Pasio, the game features iconic Pokémon Trainers from the core Pokémon RPG titles teaming up with their partner Pokémon. The main characters form Sync Pairs, with one Trainer coupled with one Pokémon.
In Pokémon Masters, players engage in 3v3 real-time battles using their Sync Pairs. The battles use a simple tap and swipe control system optimized for mobile devices. Players collect more Sync Pairs as they progress, each with their own stats, moves, strengths, and weaknesses.
The single-player story mode sees the player working with Lear, the founder of the Pokémon Masters League (PML), to discover why the Sync Stones that enable Sync Pairs have lost their power. Through story events and special missions, they encounter iconic characters from past Pokémon games and rebuild their teams.
Additional gameplay modes allow players to battle computer and human opponents in limited-time events and multiplayer modes. Overall, Pokémon Masters combines mobile-friendly real-time battles with a nostalgia-driven collection aspect by uniting famous Pokémon Trainers with their partner Pokémon.
