Polytoria: Free & Open Source World-Building Game

A collaborative game inspired by Minecraft & Roblox, where players build & share structures & environments freely.

What is Polytoria?

Polytoria is a free and open source voxel-based sandbox game that focuses on online collaborative world building and creation. Inspired by popular games like Minecraft and Roblox, Polytoria allows players to join persistent server worlds and collectively construct buildings, structures, and environments limited only by their creativity.

Using a simple block-based interface, players can gather resources, craft tools and items, and build anything they can imagine across vast, customizable landscapes. The open source nature of Polytoria also allows server hosts to easily mod and customize the game with unique textures, models, gameplay mechanics, and more.

As an online multiplayer experience, Polytoria encourages playing and creating alongside others. Players can work together to build whole cities, automated farms, sprawling road systems, complex machines, and elaborate sculptures. Friends can simply hang out and explore each other's constructions while chatting in real time.

Polytoria provides a platform for limitless creativity and collaboration in a voxel sandbox. Its intuitive building controls and blocky, retro aesthetic make creating virtual worlds simple and fun. While still in active development, the game already provides hundreds of building blocks and items, charming low-poly visuals, multiplayer persistence, and modding capabilities.
