Save The Square Hero is a 2D pixel art action platformer game developed and published by Vivid Helix. Drawing inspiration from classic 8-bit NES games like Super Mario Bros and Mega Man, Save The Square Hero features blocky, pixelated graphics and a chiptune soundtrack for a true retro gaming experience.

In the game, you play as Quentin, a courageous hero who must traverse the dangerous Square Kingdom to rescue Princess Matilda who has been kidnapped by the evil Dr. Null. Across 24 action-packed levels spanning 6 different zones like Grass Lands, Fire Mountain, and Null's Castle, Quentin must jump over pits, dodge hazards, collect power-ups, and defeat Dr. Null's army of cronies like spiky turtles, bomb-throwing goblins, and evil wizards.

With tight, responsive controls that harken back to platforming classics, you can run, jump, and attack enemies with Quentin's sword as you try to reach the end of each level.
