Nexus Repository OSS has become the central hub for all our build artifacts, from Java JARs to Node.js packages and Docker images. Setting up proxies for public repositories and hosting our internal releases was straightforward, and it integrates seamlessly with our CI/CD tools like Jenkins. The ability to enforce component health and security policies before builds is a huge plus.

Nexus Repository OSS is incredibly robust for managing our Maven, npm, and Docker artifacts, and you can't beat the price of free. However, the initial setup and configuration are complex, and the admin UI feels dated and unintuitive. It's a reliable workhorse once it's running, but getting there requires significant time and technical expertise.
