What is SquidMan?
SquidMan is a creative storytelling software targeted at children, parents, and educators. It allows users to easily craft beautiful, personalized children's stories complete with vivid illustrations and characters.
The intuitive drag-and-drop interface makes it simple to add characters, props, backgrounds, and other art assets to create a custom scene. A wide variety of included artwork and templates aid the story composition process. Users can either choose from the existing library of characters and scenes or upload their own artwork.
Once the scene is set, tapping on a character allows users to add dialogue or thought bubbles. Additional tools enable easy manipulation of character poses, facial expressions, and positions for dynamic storytelling. Users can add as much or as little text as desired to build out a story.
SquidMan outputs the completed tale into an illustrated storybook format that can be printed or shared digitally. The software aims to harness children's creativity and imagination while also developing early narrative skills.
