As a non-technical user, I really struggled to get Syncthing set up across my devices. The web interface isn't very intuitive, and although it runs in the background, it's not as seamless as I'd like. I spend more time troubleshooting sync issues than actually using the sync feature. It's great for those who love to tinker, but way too complex for the average user.

I've been using Syncthing for about a year now to keep files synchronized between my desktop, laptop, and family members' devices. The initial setup requires a bit of technical understanding to exchange device IDs, but once configured, it runs flawlessly in the background with no noticeable performance hit. I love that my data stays entirely on my own devices without ever touching a third-party cloud server, and the fact that it's open-source gives me complete peace of mind about security and transparency. It has reliably handled everything from documents to large photo libraries across different operating systems.

Syncthing has become my go-to solution for keeping files synchronized across my laptop, desktop, and even a Raspberry Pi at home. The fact that it's peer-to-peer and open-source gives me peace of mind about both security and privacy, with no central server to worry about. While the initial setup took a bit of technical reading, once configured, it runs reliably in the background without any fuss. It's been rock-solid for syncing my project folders and personal documents for over a year now.

I've been using Syncthing for about a year to keep my documents and photos synced across my laptop, desktop, and phone. It's been rock-solid reliable and completely privateβ€”my data never touches a third-party server. It's a bit technical to set up, but the peace of mind and zero cost are unbeatable. It has completely replaced Google Drive and Dropbox for my personal and important files.

After years of dealing with cloud storage subscriptions and privacy concerns, Syncthing has been a revelation. Setting it up took about 20 minutes across my laptop, desktop, and phone, and now my files sync seamlessly without ever touching a third-party server. The peer-to-peer approach is brilliantβ€”my data stays on my devices, and it's completely free with no artificial limits.

Syncthing has become my go-to for keeping files in sync between my laptop, desktop, and NAS. The fact that it works peer-to-peer without any cloud middleman gives me great peace of mind for privacy. It took a little initial setup to understand the device ID concept, but now it runs flawlessly in the background, keeping everything up to date automatically.

I wanted a simple way to sync files between my laptop and desktop, but Syncthing has been a headache. The setup process is confusing, with too much manual configuration required just to get two devices talking. Even after that, syncs are inconsistentβ€”sometimes files just don't update, and there's no clear error message to help troubleshoot. For something that's supposed to be easy and serverless, it feels needlessly complicated and unreliable.
