What is ThingsTwin?

ThingsTwin is an open-source Internet of Things (IoT) platform that enables rapid development and management of digital twins. A digital twin is a virtual representation of a physical device or system that simulates its state and behavior using real-time data.

ThingsTwin allows creating digital twins of devices, equipment, systems or even entire factories and buildings. It provides tools to model the devices, define their properties, behaviors and interactions. Developers can add custom logic and business rules to enrich the digital twins with intelligence.

The platform facilitates aggregating and analyzing data from multiple IoT sensors and devices in a single digital twin. It also enables integration with diverse industrial assets through standard interfaces like OPC UA. Once set up, the digital twins can be used to monitor, control, optimize and predict the performance of the physical assets.
