A browser-based variant of the classic Space Invaders game, where you shoot pixelated images of Donald Trump and his administration from a turret.
Trump Space Invaders is a free, browser-based video game inspired by the 1978 arcade classic Space Invaders. However, instead of shooting at descending rows of alien invaders, in Trump Space Invaders the player controls a laser cannon at the bottom of the screen that shoots at pixelated images of former US President Donald Trump and members of his administration.
The goal of the single-player game is to shoot and destroy the Trump-inspired images as they march from side-to-side while gradually descending toward the cannon. Each wave features different pixelated graphics of Trump, his family members like Donald Trump Jr. and Ivanka Trump, and former administration officials like Kellyanne Conway and Steve Bannon.
As in Space Invaders, the player's cannon can move left and right along the bottom of the screen while shooting upwards. The march of pixelated Trump images speeds up as the game progresses into more difficult waves. Occasionally, Trump will gesture to activate a shield that temporarily protects his whole wave of characters. If the images reach the player's cannon, the game ends.
With its simple graphics and controls, Trump Space Invaders delivers a fun, cathartic twist on an old arcade favorite for those looking to wittily blow off some political steam.
