I really want to love Velo. As a native Mac app for API testing, it looks fantastic and integrates perfectly with macOS. The clean, dark-mode-friendly UI is a joy to use. However, the lack of some key features, like the ability to save and organize request collections meaningfully, is a real drawback. It feels fast and powerful, but I keep reaching for my old tool when I need to handle complex workflows. It has immense potential, but for the price, I expect more polished features.
Velo is a beautifully designed native Mac app for API testing and debugging, and the UI is genuinely nice to look at. It handles POST and GET requests reliably, and the ability to save collections is a huge plus. However, the autocomplete and syntax highlighting are sometimes buggy with complex JSON responses, slowing me down. At its price point, I'd expect a more polished experience and a better discovery feature for saved requests. It's a solid foundation but needs refinement.
