Mar 27, 2026The most powerful, customizable, and privacy-focused browser I've used
As a software developer, I am constantly switching between dozens of tabs for research, communication, and coding. Vivaldi has become my daily driver. The customizability is its killer feature: I've arranged my tab bar vertically on the side, set up tab stacks for my work projects, and have a series of workspaces for my different roles. The built-in ad and tracker blocker is excellent, and I love the built-in note-taking and screenshot tools for quickly capturing research. It has a bit of a learning curve to set up the UI and all the settings just the way you want, but after the initial setup, it's incredibly smooth. The performance is excellent, and the privacy controls make me feel in control of my data. It's the first browser that genuinely feels like an integrated 'command center' for my web work.

Mar 15, 2026Too Much Tinkering Required
Vivaldi's customizability is a curse in disguise. I spent more time fiddling with settings and organizing tabs than actually browsing. While the privacy focus is appreciated, the browser felt sluggish on my mid-range PC, and some websites had minor rendering issues. For a daily driver, it's just more hassle than it's worth.

Mar 14, 2026Finally, a browser that respects both my privacy and my need to tinker
As a former power user of Opera, I've been searching for a browser that balances deep customization with a clean, modern feel. Vivaldi nails it with its tab stacking, built-in notes, and session snapshots, which have genuinely streamlined my workflow. The privacy-first approach is a breath of fresh air, and while there's a learning curve, the payoff in control is absolutely worth it.

Mar 10, 2026A Power User's Dream with Some Rough Edges
Vivaldi's customization is incredible - the tab stacking and built-in note-taking are game-changers for my workflow. However, it feels noticeably slower than Chrome on my mid-range laptop, especially when opening multiple tabs. The privacy features are solid and it's free, but I occasionally experience minor glitches with some websites. I keep it as my secondary browser for specific tasks, but can't fully switch from Firefox yet.

Mar 10, 2026A Power User's Dream Browser
As someone who constantly has dozens of tabs open, Vivaldi's tab stacking and session snapshots are absolute lifesavers. The interface is incredibly clean, but I can tweak nearly every element to fit my workflow. It's remarkably fast and private, and the built-in note-taking feature means I spend less time switching between apps. For a free, open-source browser, it feels like a premium product tailored just for me.

Mar 04, 2026Finally, a browser that puts power back in the user's hands
As someone who juggles dozens of tabs for research and personal projects, Vivaldi has been a game-changer. The tab stacking and built-in notes let me organize my workflow seamlessly, and the level of customization is unparalleledβI've truly made it my own. It's fast, respects my privacy, and the fact that it's free with these features feels almost too good to be true.
