Voxel Quest is a free and open source voxel-based sandbox game. It allows players to build anything they want in a 3D world made of destructible and modifiable voxels. Similar to games like Minecraft, Voxel Quest focuses on creativity and building in a simple blocky world.

What is Voxel Quest?

Voxel Quest is an open-world sandbox game centered around building with and exploring voxels. Voxels are cube-shaped blocks that make up the procedurally generated 3D world. Similar to the popular game Minecraft, the core gameplay loop focuses on gathering resources, crafting tools and structures, and freely sculpting the voxel terrain.

As a free and open source game, Voxel Quest can be downloaded and played for free on Windows, Mac, and Linux platforms. The open source nature allows mod support and community contributions to the game's development.

In the blocky, pixelated Voxel Quest worlds, players can build anything they can imagine - construct voxel sculptures, architecture, cities, and even intricate machines using interactive parts. The game features both creative mode with unlimited building resources as well as survival mode with mining, crafting, and protection against environmental hazards.

While still in active development, Voxel Quest aims to set itself apart from other voxel/Minecraft-likes with advanced world generation, customizable creatures with AI behaviors, integrated logic systems for machinery, rich crafting mechanics, and multiplayer servers for playing collaboratively or competitively with others.
