I switched from iTerm2 to WezTerm and it completely changed my workflow. The GPU-accelerated rendering is incredibly smooth, and I can have dozens of tabs and splits without any lag, even on a 4K display with multiple workspaces. The configuration is extremely powerful—I love the Lua-based configuration—but it did take some time to get everything working just right. The ligature support for fonts like Fira Code is flawless, and the multiplexing has made organizing my development workflow incredibly efficient. The only downside is the initial learning curve, as the documentation is thorough but dense.

I switched to WezTerm from another terminal emulator after failing to get GPU-accelerated rendering and ligature support to work properly. WezTerm just works out of the box, is incredibly fast, and the tab and split pane features have boosted my productivity. The customizability and extensive theming options are a huge plus, and the performance is noticeably smoother than what I was using before.
