Apr 26, 2026Essential but increasingly frustrating
It's impossible to avoid WhatsApp because everyone uses it, but the experience keeps getting worse. The app has become bloated with unnecessary features like 'Channels' and 'Status' that I never use, while core functions like reliable message delivery and clear call quality have deteriorated. The constant push to link my Facebook/Instagram data and intrusive privacy policy updates make me feel like a product, not a user.

Apr 21, 2026Frustratingly unreliable and invasive
While the features are comprehensive and free, the app has become increasingly unreliable with messages failing to send or deliver out of order. The constant connectivity to Facebook's ecosystem and aggressive data collection practices are a major privacy concern. Customer support is virtually nonexistent, leaving you on your own when things go wrong.

Apr 21, 2026Essential but Flawed
It's basically impossible to function socially or professionally without WhatsApp as everyone uses it, which is its biggest strength. The call quality is usually good and sharing documents is easy. However, the lack of proper customer support is a major flaw, and I'm increasingly uncomfortable with Meta's data handling and the constant push for new, less private features.

Apr 20, 2026Indispensable for Staying Connected Worldwide
WhatsApp has become the cornerstone of my communication with friends and family, especially those abroad. The ability to send text, photos, videos, and documents over data/Wi-Fi for free is invaluable, eliminating the need for expensive SMS or international calling plans. The interface is intuitive, and the voice and video call quality is consistently excellent. While customer support isn't its strongest point, the app itself is so reliable and feature-rich that it's a non-issue.

Apr 18, 2026Essential for Staying Connected Globally
WhatsApp is simply indispensable for keeping in touch with friends and family abroad. The ability to send messages, make crystal-clear video calls, and share photos without worrying about international charges is a game-changer. It's so reliable and easy to use that even my less tech-savvy relatives can figure it out. While I wish the file size limit for videos was higher, it's still the best free messaging app out there.

Apr 18, 2026Essential but Flawed
It's impossible to avoid WhatsApp as it's how everyone I know communicates, and features like video calls and document sharing are incredibly useful. However, the constant notifications and the pressure to be 'always online' are draining, and the app's battery drain on my phone is noticeable. The recent privacy policy changes also left a bad taste.

Apr 17, 2026Essential and Reliable Communication Tool
WhatsApp has been my go-to messaging app for years because it just works. The ability to send messages, make calls, and share files for free over Wi-Fi or data saves me a ton on traditional SMS and call charges. The interface is clean and intuitive, and group chats make coordinating with family and friends effortless. While I wish I could opt out of the Meta ecosystem, its reliability and near-universal adoption make it indispensable.

Apr 16, 2026Essential communication tool that just works
WhatsApp has become my go-to app for staying connected with friends and family, especially those overseas. The interface is clean and intuitive, making video calls, sharing photos, and sending voice messages effortless. The fact that it's free and works seamlessly across both Wi-Fi and mobile data is a huge plus. It's simply the most reliable way I've found to keep my important conversations in one place.

Apr 16, 2026Essential for staying connected with family abroad
WhatsApp is absolutely indispensable for keeping in touch with my family overseas. The video and voice call quality is consistently excellent, even with slower internet connections, and the ability to send photos, videos, and documents instantly is a game-changer. It's so simple that even my grandparents can use it without any trouble, which is the biggest compliment I can give.
