What is World of Tanks Blitz?

World of Tanks Blitz is a free-to-play mobile MMO action game developed and published by Wargaming Group. It is the mobile adaptation of Wargaming's popular PC game, World of Tanks. The game drops players into quick, intense 7v7 tank battles where two teams of tankers compete to destroy all enemy vehicles.

In World of Tanks Blitz, players can build, upgrade, and customize over 300 armored vehicles from America, Britain, Germany, USSR, France, China, Japan, Czechoslovakia, Sweden, and Poland across 3 diverse battlefields. Vehicles are spread across 4 main class types - light tanks, medium tanks, heavy tanks, and tank destroyers. Each vehicle has unique characteristics, strengths, and weaknesses.

Players start with a small selection of tier I tanks. As they play matches and earn experience points, they can research and unlock new tanks in higher tiers. They can also spend in-game credits and gold to purchase new tanks. All vehicles can be upgraded by researching better modules like guns, turrets, engines, and radios. Cosmetic customization is also available.

Gameplay in World of Tanks Blitz emphasizes speed and strategy. Battles are 7v7 format so teams must work together to spot enemies, flank positions, use terrain effectively, and know when to retreat and repair. Rounds typically last 5-7 minutes. There are over 200 million players worldwide making the competition fierce and exciting.
