Switching to YouTube Music was the best decision for my daily commute. The personalized mixes, especially 'Discover Mix' and 'New Release Mix,' are scarily accurate and have introduced me to so many new artists I now love. The seamless transition between music videos and audio is perfect for when I want to watch a live performance or just listen. It's completely replaced my old music streaming service.

The app constantly interrupts music with random YouTube videos I didn't ask for, even when I just want audio. The recommendations are wildly off-target despite weeks of 'training,' and the shuffle function seems to play the same 20 songs repeatedly. For a paid service, I expected better than this clunky YouTube hybrid.

YouTube Music has become one of my favorite ways to stream music. The interface is clean and easy to navigate, and I love how it seamlessly integrates with YouTube. It’s great being able to switch between music videos and audio-only tracks, and the recommendations have been surprisingly accurate in helping me discover new artists and songs I actually enjoy.
Offline downloads and background play work well, and the ability to upload your own music library is a huge plus. That said, the app could benefit from more advanced playlist tools and smarter sorting features. Still, it’s a very strong alternative to Spotify or Apple Music—especially if you already use YouTube Premium.
