ZipItFree gets the basic job done for zipping and unzipping files, and you can't beat the price. It's perfectly fine for quickly zipping up some documents to email to a colleague or extracting a downloaded archive. However, I've found it to be a bit on the slow side when handling a folder with a lot of small files, and the interface, while simple, feels a bit dated. For free, it's a decent tool, but don't expect any advanced features or zippy performance with more demanding tasks.
