What is Zombie SkiFree?

Zombie SkiFree is a modern remake of the classic SkiFree game that originally shipped with Microsoft Windows in 1991. Like the original, Zombie SkiFree is an endless runner style skiing game where the player controls a small skier traveling down an infinite procedurally generated mountain while avoiding obstacles.

What sets Zombie SkiFree apart from SkiFree is the addition of zombies that spawn at intervals and chase after the skier. The player must ski quickly and make sharp turns to evade the zombies, all while still navigating around trees, rocks, ramps, and the occasional yeti.

The goal is to ski as far as possible before either hitting an obstacle or being caught by a zombie. As the player skis farther, the zombies spawn more frequently and ski faster, providing an escalating challenge. High scores are recorded based on how long the player can survive.

Zombie SkiFree mixes the simple, accessible gameplay of the original SkiFree with modern elements like procedurally generated terrain and enemies. The combination of evading both stationary obstacles and pursuing zombies creates new and engaging twists on the classic skiing formula.
