What is Another World?

Originally released in 1991 for the Amiga and Atari ST, Another World (also known as Out of This World in North America) is a cinematic platform action-adventure game developed by French studio Delphine Software. It tells the story of young scientist Lester Knight Chaykin who, after a physics experiment goes awry, finds himself transported to a strange, hostile alien planet. He must evade the dangerous local wildlife and environmental hazards using fluid animation movements while figuring out some way to escape.

Another World stood out for its innovative vector graphics and rotoscoped animation technology, which brought an unprecedented fluidity and realism to the game's movement.
