What is Candy Crush Jelly Saga?
Candy Crush Jelly Saga is a free-to-play, match-three mobile puzzle game released in 2016. It is the fourth game in King's popular Candy Crush series. Jelly Saga introduces new gameplay elements to the original Candy Crush formula, including jelly-filled candies, jam spreading mechanics, and candy string cutting.
The goal of Jelly Saga is to match groups of 3 or more candy icons to clear them from the game board and meet the level goals before running out of moves. Special candies like Striped candies and Color bombs can be matched for extra powerful effects. The new jelly candies must be matched multiple times to fully clear them. Matching candies next to jellies will spread jam across the board, allowing for more matches.
Like the original Candy Crush, Jelly Saga monetizes through players purchasing extra lives, moves, and powerup boosters when they lose levels. The game features hundreds of levels in many episode 'worlds', providing many hours of free matching puzzle gameplay.
