What is Cozy Grove?

Cozy Grove is a life-simulation video game developed by Spry Fox and published by Spry Fox. It was released in March 2021 for iOS, Android, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. Players take on the role of a Spirit Scout tasked with helping the ghosts who reside on the charming and ever-changing island of Cozy Grove.

The core gameplay loop focuses around building friendships with the residents of Cozy Grove in order to progress the Spirit Scout's own story, as well as slowly uncover the many mysteries behind the island itself. Each day, the player is given various quests by the residents that range from collecting materials, cooking recipes, finding lost items, and more. Completing these quests raises the player's friendship level with the ghost who assigned it, which unlocks further story and quest content unique to that character.

Aside from quests, Cozy Grove features a robust crafting system using resources found all over the island. Crafting better tools and furniture not only improves island life but also attracts more animal visitors to befriend. The island itself transforms over real-time days and seasons, so resources, potential quests and wildlife shift regularly to provide the player fresh content every day.
