What is Staxel?

Staxel is an open-ended farming and village life simulation game with a cutesy pixel art style. As a new resident in the world of Staxel, you have an old, run-down farm to restore. Your goals are to rebuild and decorate your farmhouse, cultivate the land, care for animals, and build relationships with the colorful villagers in town.

Core gameplay revolves around chopping trees, tilling soil, planting seeds, watering crops, harvesting produce, and crafting or cooking items using raw materials. Over time, your farmhouse upgrades from a shack to a home as you acquire more money, items, and friends. There is no definitive end or overarching storyline in Staxel - the aim is simply to let your creativity run wild while developing the home and community of your dreams.
