What is Curve Fever?
Curve Fever is a multiplayer online party game developed by Powatan and released in 2007. The game features simplistic visuals and intuitive gameplay, making it easy for anyone to pick up and play.
In Curve Fever, up to 4 players control colorful lines or 'snakes' that leave a trail behind them as they move around the arena. The goal is to make your opponents crash into the trails while avoiding them yourself. If you touch any trail, including your own, you lose. This forces players to constantly stay on the move and cut across the arena.
Players use the keyboard or gamepad to control the direction their line moves. The controls are very simple with just left, right and boost buttons. As the rounds progress, the game speeds up making navigation more challenging. Players must race to cut off opponents, force them to crash, or even trick them into hitting the trails.
With easy pick-up-and-play mechanics, simple visual style, and fast-paced multiplayer action, Curve Fever has remained popular with over 25 million downloads. The game shines as a local party title to play with friends and family. Several modes are available including Deathmatch, Teams, Time Trial, and the self-explanatory Tournament mode.
