What is Dungeon Tile Mapper?

Dungeon Tile Mapper is a free, web-based application designed to help gamemasters and world builders quickly create visually appealing battlemaps and dungeon maps for use with tabletop roleplaying games like Dungeons & Dragons.

With an intuitive grid-based interface, users can easily draw dungeon rooms, corridors, and other map features by clicking to place a variety of premade floor, wall, door, statue, furniture, and other game tiles onto the map. The app comes packed with a multitude of medieval, cave, city, and other tilesets to choose from. Users can also import their own custom images to create fully customized maps.

Once the basic map layout is created, Dungeon Tile Mapper provides additional tools to further enhance the map – adding shadows and lighting, text labels, map borders and backgrounds, and more. Finished maps can be downloaded as image files or imported into virtual tabletop software like Roll20.
