What is Facebook Home?
Facebook Home is a custom user interface layer and launcher for Android that was released by Facebook in 2013. It was designed to put Facebook front and center on a user's device.

The idea behind Home was to deeply integrate Facebook into the Android experience. However, it failed to gain significant user traction and adoption. In 2014, Facebook discontinued supporting and updating Home as a standalone launcher, although some of the features lived on integrated into Facebook's primary mobile apps.
