What is Forgotten Hope 2?

Forgotten Hope 2 is a free multiplayer total conversion modification for Battlefield 2 developed by the community. It transforms the modern combat setting of Battlefield 2 into massive World War 2 battles featuring authentic vehicles and weapons from 1939-1945.

The mod features large scale infantry oriented maps ranging from early war battles like the invasion of France to late war battles like the Allied push into Germany. Players can take control of infantry soldiers from a variety of factions including the US, UK, Germany, Soviet Union, and more.

There is a wide selection of era-appropriate weapons to use including bolt action rifles, submachine guns, anti-tank weaponry, artillery, and more. Over 100 authentic ground and air vehicles are available as well such as the Sherman tank, Panzer IV, Spitfire, Bf 109 fighter plane, and many others.

Battles feature up to 100 players with a strong focus on teamwork. Game modes range from capturing control points, destroying objectives, conquest-style warfare, and more. Custom maps and assets bring battlefields like Tobruk, normandy, Berlin, and Stalingrad to life.
