Garritan Personal Orchestra (GPO) is a virtual instrument software designed to recreate the sound of a professional orchestra on a computer. It was created by Garritan Corporation and provides high-quality sampled instruments for music composers, producers, and hobbyists.

The core of GPO is its extensive library featuring over 90GB of detailed orchestral and instrumental samples. These samples were recorded from different sections of a live orchestra including strings, brass, woodwinds, percussion, and keyboards. Care was taken to capture the subtle nuances and articulations of each instrument.
