What is Identity V?

Identity V is an asymmetrical horror game for mobile devices developed and published by NetEase. The game pits 4 survivors against 1 hunter in a dark gothic mansion. As a survivor, the objective is to decode ciphers scattered around the map and escape through the gates before the hunter catches you.

There are currently over 30 playable survivors and hunters to choose from, each with unique abilities and playstyles. Survivors must evade the hunter, decode ciphers, rescue teammates from chairs, and open the exit gates. Hunters attempt to find, catch and eliminate survivors by placing them on chairs. There is deep strategy involved around kiting, rescuing, and using character abilities effectively.

Identity V features various gameplay modes including ranked matches, quick matches, blackjack mode, tarot mode, and more. Players can customize their characters with hundreds of skins, accessories, emotes, graffiti and pets. There is also a persona web system that allows further customization of abilities.
