JewelToy is a free and open source puzzle video game where players click and drag colored jewels on a grid to match 3 or more in a row, making them disappear and scoring points. With its simple yet engaging gameplay, it's an accessible, casual game for players of all ages.

The objective is to clear the grid of all jewels by creating matches. Matches can be made horizontally or vertically by swapping any two adjacent jewels to create a line of 3 or more identical ones. Bonus points are awarded for matches of 4 or 5 jewels. Players can also match jewels diagonally but without any bonuses.

There are over 100 levels, starting out easy but increasing in difficulty as special jewels are introduced, like bombs that clear a 3x3 area or chains that clear entire rows/columns in one shot. While easy to learn, making long chains and utilizing bonuses provides plenty of challenge.

With bright colors, smooth animations, and relaxing music, JewelToy provides an immersive, stimulating sensory experience. No time limits or pressure allows for casual enjoyment. It engages logic, planning, and spatial reasoning without being mentally taxing.
