Kill Fun Yeah is a freeware indie platformer video game released in 2019 by developer McMillen Games. Inspired by notoriously difficult games like I Wanna Be the Guy, Kill Fun Yeah takes sadistic, challenging gameplay to the extreme.
The player controls a small character and must guide them through several dozen stages filled with traps, hazards, and enemies out to kill you at every turn. Spikes, lasers, missiles, and other instant-death obstacles litter each level. Enemies aggressively chase you. Absent are power-ups or waypoints offering temporary safety.
Reaching the exit door at the end of each stage is the only goal...and it's a mighty difficult one. With the inability to save progress mid-level, most stages will force dozens or hundreds of retries as players memorize patterns and enemy AI behaviors in an effort to inch further through the levels with each life.
Designed to frustrate yet captivate, Kill Fun Yeah builds on past challenging platformers but removes any semblance of forgiveness. Only the most hardy, persistent players will see the game through to its conclusion after 4-6 hours of playtime.
