What is Monsterz?

Monsterz is a 2D pixel art monster collector and battling game for PC. With its retro 16-bit graphical style, Monsterz aims to evoke a sense of nostalgia for classic monster catching games.

In Monsterz, players explore an expansive open world full of diverse environments like grasslands, deserts, tundras, and more. Throughout the world, over 500 unique monsters can be found, caught, and added to the player's collection. Monsters have different types, stats, abilities, and more for players to discover.

A main component of Monsterz is turn-based battles against computer or human opponents. Players assemble a team of up to 6 monsters from their collection and pit them against an enemy team. Strategic gameplay comes from type matchups, stat management, and taking advantage of monsters' unique skills.

Monsterz features both single player and multiplayer content. In single player, the main campaign has players traversing the world while taking on Gym Leaders. For multiplayer, asynchronous online battles allow players to test their skills against others. Optional trading and a player economy also exist in Monsterz's online features.
