What is PapiJump?

PapiJump is an open source, 2D platform game where players control a character on a vertically scrolling screen. The goal is to jump between platforms while avoiding obstacles and trying to get as high as possible to score the most points.

Gameplay involves tapping or clicking to make the character jump. Players must time their jumps correctly to land on the next platform above while also dodging enemies and obstacles. Coins can be collected along the way for extra points.

As the player progresses upwards, the game moves faster and introduces more hazards such as disappearing platforms, moving barriers, and enemies that can knock the character off course. Powerups occasionally appear that grant abilities like a temporary jetpack to fly upwards.

Scoring is based on the height reached, so players compete to see how high they can climb before eventually falling and the game ending. Additional points are awarded for collecting coins and powerups.
