The interface is clean and the explanation feature seems promising, but the regex engine itself is buggy. I tested several basic patterns that work perfectly in other tools, but here they either missed matches or flagged incorrect ones. The sharing function also failed when I tried to generate a link for my team.

The promise of an intuitive interface is a complete misrepresentation; I found the layout cluttered and the so-called 'explanation' feature utterly unhelpful for understanding complex patterns. When trying to test a regex on a larger text sample, the page became extremely laggy and unresponsive, making the highlighting feature useless. For a free tool, it's frustratingly unreliable and left me wasting time I could have spent just writing the expression manually.
